Phillippa is founder of current.works. She has enjoyed over 10 years as a service designer, researcher and facilitator working across Europe. Clients have ranged from large retailer Decathlon, to niche lifestyle brand Nkuku through to management consultancies including Deloitte and various government departments.
Phillippa is an expert in Agile methodologies and an accredited Lego Serious Play practitioner. She also enjoys enjoys teaching on MA Service Design at University of the Arts London and co-authored the ‘This is Service Design Doing’ book
Mo-Ling is co-director of current.works, leading on design communication and as an innovation strategist. Recently she has contributed to capability building for management consultancies and ethnographic research on Tech startups.
Mo-Ling has over 15 years experience in creative direction, design management and communication roles internationally; she is also Course Director of BA (Hons) Design Management and Cultures at UAL and developing research in social design, design thinking and creative competencies.
Oli has led strategic insight projects for dozens of category leading brands including Disney, Unilever and Facebook. At Current Works he is on a mission to provide the most advanced research in the most accessible way.
Oli designs methodologies using a variety of disciplines including brand research, cultural ethnography, jobs-to-be-done, insight automation and cognitive science.
Kathryn’s expertise lies in aligning design to business or organisational strategy for measurable impact and sustainability.
As a design adviser, consultant and facilitator with a career in design and innovation developed internationally over 35 years, Kathryn has worked with private and public sector organisations and programmes, educational institutions and international partners.
Rob is a senior service design consultant and user researcher. He is co-course leader of the Service Design Intensives short course programme with Phillippa at UAL. He is an expert on the circular economy and passionate about treating social and sustainability issues as mutually inclusive.
Rob take a human centred approach to addressing environmental, social and business challenges at Current Works and in his own consultancy We All Design. He also has a growing interest in theory and practice of improvisation in design.
