Current Works is led by Phillippa Rose, supported by a team of associates.
Phillippa has enjoyed over 10 years as a service designer, researcher and facilitator working across Europe. She is also an expert in Agile methodologies and an accredited Lego Serious Play practitioner.
Prior to founding Current Works Phillippa was director of Redfront design agency, and managed national programmes at Enterprise UK and NESTA. She also enjoys teaching Service Design and Innovation at UAL, and contributed to the 'This is Service Design Doing' book.
Kathryn’s expertise lies in aligning design to business or organisational strategy for measurable impact and sustainability.
As a design adviser, consultant and facilitator with a career in design and innovation developed internationally over 35 years, Kathryn has worked with private and public sector organisations and programmes, educational institutions and international partners.
Mo-Ling Chui specialises in design thinking as an educator, and as a design communicator and strategist at Current Works.
Mo-Ling has over 15 years experience in creative, design management and communication roles internationally; she is also Course Director of BA (Hons) Design Management and Cultures at UAL and developing research in social design and design thinking for education and change.
Rob is a senior service design consultant and user researcher. He is co-course leader of the Service Design Intensives short course programme with Phillippa at UAL. He is an expert on the circular economy and passionate about treating social and sustainability issues as mutually inclusive.
Rob take a human centred approach to addressing environmental, social and business challenges at Current Works and in his own consultancy We All Design. He also has a growing interest in theory and practice of improvisation in design.
